Commercial Description:
Bottled and (in USA) kegged - pasteurised.
Fuller’s London Porter captures the flavours of those original brews perfectly, although you won’t find a cloudy pint these days! Rich, dark and complex, at 5.4% ABV the beer has an outstanding depth of flavour.
It is brewed from a blend of Brown, Crystal and Chocolate malts for a creamy delivery balanced by traditional Fuggles hops. The range of flavours works well with a wide variety of foods, ranging from rich meat dishes, to oysters, and even chocolate puddings.

Smells sweet and roasty. Pours with great head and dark with a lot of light at the seams. Tastes roasty and creamy. A decent stout but lacks some complexity.

Milldly roasty milk chocolate aroma, chewy coffee chocolate taste, nice soft creamy body. Used to love this and it is still very good.

Pours black with a medium tan head. Strong aroma of french roast coffee, some dark chocolate. Flavor is mostly coffee, malt, dark chocolate, toasty. Finish is a nice chocolate bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Would be great with a chocolate desert or cookies.

12-oz. Thanks, Skoi! This one had a long and storied history before it finally wandered home with me tonight. Nice to finally crack it. Pours ebony with rubied brown highlights and shows, even after over a year and a half in the bottle, a nice thick and creamy tan head. Nice big coffee nose, black bread there as well. Nice creamy body, substantive without being dense or overly cargo-ish. Plenty of wooly carb showing as well. Coffee, black bread, dark cocoa, and a bit of baking chocolate on the mid-palate. Long cocoa-y finish. Lovely stuff.

Pours a deep ruby red with a nice medium light tan head with just a touch of lace. The aroma is nice nutty roasty and full of sweet malt. The flavor is even nicer with lots of chocolate molasses and a pronounced nuttiness There are some good balancing hops here but this is much more about the delicious roasty malts. A very nice porter indeed.

Can... Poured deep brown with a big, khaki head. Roasted aroma of coffee beans, cocoa and malts. Soft, smooth and creamy palate with noticeable coffee notes up front cocoa malts and nutty, earthy hops. Chocolate, mocha and coffee in the finish.
