Commercial Description:
Bottled and (in USA) kegged - pasteurised.
Fuller’s London Porter captures the flavours of those original brews perfectly, although you won’t find a cloudy pint these days! Rich, dark and complex, at 5.4% ABV the beer has an outstanding depth of flavour.
It is brewed from a blend of Brown, Crystal and Chocolate malts for a creamy delivery balanced by traditional Fuggles hops. The range of flavours works well with a wide variety of foods, ranging from rich meat dishes, to oysters, and even chocolate puddings.

Pours a dark brown with copper edges. Minimal brown head. Roasted chocolate aroma along with a good roasted taste and creaminess. Finishes with a bitter coffee flavor. A bit thin but it is English.

Nice, full body. Almost too creamy, but still very good. Incredibly smooth.

Big bubbley beige top sits above dark dark ruby...notes of Fuggles are way out there and glide up your braincells. an earthy , bitter chocolate dryness coats your gumbs in a warming way. Ive grown a bit bored of Porters . I use to really dig this ale , now i find it lacks some complexitey and is a bit shallow. A nice drink..but not my style these dayz.

Dark brown pour. Lots of milk chocolate in the nose, along with some cream and roast. The flavor is mild, but very tasty milk chocolate with a mild hop/burnt kick coming in at the end. Maybe a bit of coffee in the finish too. Mouthfeel is on the light side, but velvety smooth. A very good, very drinkable porter, though not quite the greatness that I was expecting.

Very dark and very strong porter. Coffee flavors are the most prominent present on both the nose and taste. Bit of a surprise kick too.

Tin. Foured brownish black with frothy beige head. Some lacing. Aroma of milk, chocolate, malt and roast. Full malty and milk chocolatey flavour with a lingering milk finish. There’s a bit of hop there too to keep things from getting too sweet. Worth drinking and repeating.

(bottle) pours the darkest ruby-brown colour with a dark frothy head and great lacing. aroma of dark toasted malts, strong notes of coffee and light chocolate, with a hint of smoke. flavour is the same, with lots of chocolate and dry toasted notes. medium body with smooth carbonation and a velvety, light roasted-bitter finish.
