Commercial Description:
Bottled and (in USA) kegged - pasteurised.
Fuller’s London Porter captures the flavours of those original brews perfectly, although you won’t find a cloudy pint these days! Rich, dark and complex, at 5.4% ABV the beer has an outstanding depth of flavour.
It is brewed from a blend of Brown, Crystal and Chocolate malts for a creamy delivery balanced by traditional Fuggles hops. The range of flavours works well with a wide variety of foods, ranging from rich meat dishes, to oysters, and even chocolate puddings.

Fullers London Porter is one of the best Porters out there. Can taste the Chocolate malt and the Fuggles hops. Complex, smooth, wonderful.

0.33L bottle, small thich head, clear dark mahagony brown with some burgundy taints. Aroma of dark brown bread, scenty light roasted coffee, whiff of nutmeg. Taste of dark sweetish bread with a touch of sourness, date and dried fig and some light coffee. Overall a little tool dry with a long sour aftertaste highlighting the dried fruits, body is medium. An extrermely good porter of the shy, understated kind.

330ml Bottle: Lightly sweet aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, and a hint of caramel. Poured dark ruby/brown in color with a small, creamy, tan head that lasted throughout. Clear. Very sparkling. Very good lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of roasted malts, chocolate, light coffee, toffee, cocoa, light tar, caramel, and some cream. Medium body. Smooth, creamy texture. Soft to average carbonation. Chocolate, roasted malt, caramel and cream finish is sticky and a bit dry. 7/4/7/4/14=3.6 Nitro: Aroma of slight chocolate. Poured dark brown/cola in color with a large, dense, beige head. Very nice looking head. Slightly sparkling. Clear. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of chocolate, cream, slight roasted malt, and a hint of wood. Medium body. Thin, creamy texture. Nitrogen carbonation. Chocolate and roasted malt finish. 4/4/7/3/13=3.1

A great porter, sort of like someone who brings your bags up quickly and doesn’t harass you about leaving a lousy tip. Dark brown color with substantial tan head. Strong aroma, coffee and chocolate - chocolate malt is especially noticeable. Smooth and very well-rounded flavor: roasted malt, coffee, smoke and some milk chocolate. Not too heavy, really drinkable.

Dark brown color with a nice head. Malty aromas that are very inviting. Taste is a malt balance that has chocolate and roasted characters in it. Overall a very good beer.

Really, really, solid porter. Dark pour. Big, chocolatey nose. Nice, roasty, chcocolatey flavor. Really nice to drink, especially after a long day of law school.
