Commercial Description:
Bottled and (in USA) kegged - pasteurised.
Fuller’s London Porter captures the flavours of those original brews perfectly, although you won’t find a cloudy pint these days! Rich, dark and complex, at 5.4% ABV the beer has an outstanding depth of flavour.
It is brewed from a blend of Brown, Crystal and Chocolate malts for a creamy delivery balanced by traditional Fuggles hops. The range of flavours works well with a wide variety of foods, ranging from rich meat dishes, to oysters, and even chocolate puddings.

bottle poured a cola brown color with a thin light tan head. aroma has chocolate malt, light roast, underlying sweetness, and mild coffee. mouth feel is medium and coats well. flavor hits with chocolate and brown malt, slightly roasted, bitter coffee hit, and some light nuttiness. super smooth and easy drinking with a nice coffee and chocolate play. i could see this being real special on draft.

Dark brown color, fluffy creamy, brown colored head. Intensive aroma of chocolate, light sweetnes, light notes of burnt malt, caramel and a hint of coffee. Flavor is medium bodied with some acid, velvety texture with chocolate, some coffe and burnt malt. Dry, roasted malt bitter finish with some dark chocolate flavor. Long finish.

16oz can poured into an English pint glass. FLP pours dark brown with a medium-sized persistent head that is creamy and nitro-like. The aroma is heavy in rich chocolate, very mild coffee and light hops. The body is moderately thick and extremely smooth. The creamy head adds a wonderful quality that is very difficult to beat. The taste follows the aroma closely and includes chocolate and cappuccino. This is probably the best porter I have had.

Pours a deep dark brown color with a reddish tan head. Inviting aroma of chocolate, malts, and coffee. Easy on the palate with chocolate, coffee, and malts pleasing the tongue. Just phenomenal!

Bottle shared by robert at SL. Dark brown in color with a red-ish hue that lets light through. Decent head. Nice aroma of coffee, chocolate...Taste is rich, sweet with some dark chocolate. Thin in texture, almost watery. Which isnt really fair since I (we) drank and Bells expy stout next to it.... Overall a solid beer, that I will have to give its own chance.******Re-rate... Nice aroma rising out of the snifter... Chocolate and coffee on the nose. The texture looks a little thin but doesnt taste that way. For a "Light" beer it does have a ton of flavor.. Lotsa chocolate and coffee. Doesnt taste that light it texture this time. Overall a solid beer, and good example of what a porter should taste like

Bottle from Total Wine in Roseville, CA. I poured this brew at the sub 50s, so I figured that the palate would be artificially improved. As it warmed, it stayed remarkably smooth. The flavors were of chocolate and slight cigar smoke. This beer was excellent, one of my new favorites.

Picked this up at the Party Source in Bellevue KY . Not as good as I expected it to be for a 99 rating. Not as smooth as a Founders or Olfabrikken. This is good don’t get me wrong but it just wasnt as smooth the other 2 top porters.A little more bitter and not near as creamy. Chocolate is present but more along the lines of coffee.Slight nuttiness and slight roastiness a little more bitter than what I like. This is a good brew but there are a couple others that clearly are better choices.
