Commercial Description:
Bottled and (in USA) kegged - pasteurised.
Fuller’s London Porter captures the flavours of those original brews perfectly, although you won’t find a cloudy pint these days! Rich, dark and complex, at 5.4% ABV the beer has an outstanding depth of flavour.
It is brewed from a blend of Brown, Crystal and Chocolate malts for a creamy delivery balanced by traditional Fuggles hops. The range of flavours works well with a wide variety of foods, ranging from rich meat dishes, to oysters, and even chocolate puddings.

Draft at Pub Italia in Ottawa. Beautiful deep brownish-black appearance, topped by a nice beige head. Aroma and flavour match, an exquisite example of malts and a nutty accent with hints of chocolate and coffee. Excellent.

On tap. Pours umber with a finger of lacey mocha head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, roast coffee, and mellifluous malt. Toasty chocolate malt, caramel, toffee, subtle dark fruits, roast coffee, and a soft hop presence. Palate was creamy and smooth. Even better as it warmed up.

This is a dark brown beer with its appealing bubbly head. It was smooth on the palate with a rich, warming flavour of chocolate and toasty malts. More sweet than bitter, it had a slight smokiness.

Near black with a tan head. Nice chocolaty sweet, roasted malt aroma. Smooth medium body. Robust blackened malt flavor with rich milk chocolate. Drys out some for the finish. Classic Porter.

500ml Bottle - Very dark brown, almost black with a tan head. Chocolatey aroma with some nice roasted malt notes. Fairly rich taste with chocolate, roasted malt and a creamy element with a bitter chocolatey and roasted finish. The aftertaste lingers and is very pleasant. A great porter.
