Commercial Description:
Bottled and (in USA) kegged - pasteurised.
Fuller’s London Porter captures the flavours of those original brews perfectly, although you won’t find a cloudy pint these days! Rich, dark and complex, at 5.4% ABV the beer has an outstanding depth of flavour.
It is brewed from a blend of Brown, Crystal and Chocolate malts for a creamy delivery balanced by traditional Fuggles hops. The range of flavours works well with a wide variety of foods, ranging from rich meat dishes, to oysters, and even chocolate puddings.

Dark pour with slowly forming, long lasting head. Smooth taste of toasted mocha that builds in the mouth, definitely recommended

A wonderful beer. Had in a 500 Ml bottle. ARoma of roasted nuts, chocalte, malts. Smooth taste and flavourful nuttyness. Dark brown with hint of red or purple throughout. A medium finger tan head. Mouthfeel is complex yet makes the beer iresistable and extermely drinkable. I would suggest that every one trys this even if they don’t like porter

(Can). Roasty chocolate/coffee aroma. Deep dark brown with thin creamy tan head. Malty chocolatey taste, also coffee with a slight hint of tangy fruit. Very nice, although I’d prefer a bit more bite and a longer finish.

Pours deep, dark brown with light beige head. Roasty malt, coffee aromas, kind of creamy in the nose. Flavors: coffee, molasses, burnt sugar, chocolate. Also, oddly enough, beef jerky comes to mind. Smooth, creamy palate, clean finish, really nice roasted aftertaste. Complex and balanced, almost hard to believe the ABV is so low.

Nice biege head,big frothy,on a very dark red/brown porter with good carbonation.Aroma,malty,coffee,chocolate,a rich note.Flavour fuggles hops,mild bitter good,chocolate richness,coffee taste,maltiness,then the porter seems to take another angle of bitterness,like some other porters.Starts out well,now it,s very bitter,not good a pity.Finish bitter overdone.

On-tap at Stone. Pours dark brown with a fizzy, offwhite head. Smells slight smokey and dark roasty malty. Tastes the same with some apple flavor in there as well. Medium body, vibrant carbonation.
