Commercial Description:
Bottled and (in USA) kegged - pasteurised.
Fuller’s London Porter captures the flavours of those original brews perfectly, although you won’t find a cloudy pint these days! Rich, dark and complex, at 5.4% ABV the beer has an outstanding depth of flavour.
It is brewed from a blend of Brown, Crystal and Chocolate malts for a creamy delivery balanced by traditional Fuggles hops. The range of flavours works well with a wide variety of foods, ranging from rich meat dishes, to oysters, and even chocolate puddings.

A dark red almost black beer with a fine light brown head. The aroma is fruity an slightly smokey. And the flavor is smokey but very mellow - nice but very mainstream for a porter.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pitch black, close to opaque, with a small, discreet head. Dark, burned flavours with a distinct bitterness that doesn’t linger all that long though. 0040302

Very dark ruby in colour. Rich, roasty and very flavourful. Still velvetty soft, and very drinkable. Complex and well balanced.

Bottle. Very nice, sweetish liquorice aroma. The colour is almost black with a red hue. Nice, semi-creamy, light brown head. Nice liquorice/salt/coffee flavour. Very late coffee aftertaste.

Bottled. Dark ruby red colour, mediumsized brown head. Soapy, roasted caramellish malts in aroma, with dark chocolate and toffee in it also. Flavour is roasted malts, dark chocolate, while the aftertaste is like espresso coffee with hints of chocolate and caramel.
