Commercial Description:
Bottled and (in USA) kegged - pasteurised.
Fuller's London Porter captures the flavours of those original brews perfectly, although you won't find a cloudy pint these days! Rich, dark and complex, at 5.4% ABV the beer has an outstanding depth of flavour.
It is brewed from a blend of Brown, Crystal and Chocolate malts for a creamy delivery balanced by traditional Fuggles hops. The range of flavours works well with a wide variety of foods, ranging from rich meat dishes, to oysters, and even chocolate puddings.

A dark red almost black beer with a fine light brown head. The aroma is fruity an slightly smokey. And the flavor is smokey but very mellow - nice but very mainstream for a porter.

Very dark ruby in colour. Rich, roasty and very flavourful. Still velvetty soft, and very drinkable. Complex and well balanced.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pitch black, close to opaque, with a small, discreet head. Dark, burned flavours with a distinct bitterness that doesn’t linger all that long though. 0040302

Near black colour. Chocolatey, vaguely nutty aroma. Fairly sweet, milk chocolatey flavour. Only a hint of roast. Moderate body, hint of earthiness. Finishes with some chewy, molassesy accents in the chocolate.

50 cL can. Pours dark brown with and orange glare an a creamy and light brown/tan head. Roasted malt, light chocolate note and mild earthy note in the aroma. Amost creay mouthfeel. Flavour is roasted malt, light chocolate and a very mild smoke note. Dry roasted malt finish with a light bitterness.
