Blom (651), Odense, Denmark Oct 22, 2007 Updated: Mar 18, 2008 Dark brown with a dense greysih head. Subtle aroma of chocolate and roasted malts. The taste is sweet, slightly burned and reminds me of cold cafe latte with a bit of bitterness. This little master piece is wrapped in a thin creamy body, making me crave for every drop of it.
Archibaldo de la Cruz (106), Finland Sep 7, 2008 Bottle. Very dark colour with a medium sized tan head. Roasted malt aroma with hints of chocolate. Taste is roasted, chocolate and coffee with some smoke. Medium-bodied and smooth mouthfeel. Sweet and chocolaty aftertaste. Delicious, well-balanced brew. Poured black with ruby edges, off white head, fully diminishing. Aromas of chocolate, burnt malt, cinnamon. Flavour is initially sweet, and some hops come through. Finishes quite bitter. Sweeter for a porter but nicely hopped and well blended flavours. kelsmj (10), , Indiana, USA Sep 1, 2008 Nice Creamy Porter. Very Dark Pour. Medium Head. Roasty malts. Dark Coffee with heavy cream taste. Very drinkable porter. I think this would go very well with food that is sweet. Would be a good base in a long cook dish or a braise.
