This is an elegant porter. The nose and flavor are richly influenced by mocha. this is a true delight, and a must try for those whom have not.

Here is a suggestion, try it in a cognac snifter, sounds strange, but I did this once and it actually brought out some subtle flavors..like cinnamon and hazlenut, and accented the chocolate tones. I love this stuff, definitely in my top five

Jul 13, 2008 Poured from a tap a dark brown. Wow this stuff is fantastic. Tastes a lot like a mocha blend coffee. This is the best porter that I have tried.

Jul 8, 2008 old tasting so short notes. dark brown pour, tan head. malty caramel nose with smooth malt flavor. good palate balance.

Jul 8, 2008 Had a while back. Pours dark ruby brown with tan head. Aroma is malt, molassas, caramel and some toffee. Flavor is smooth and creamy with hints of burnt malts and some caramel and toffee. Nice porter and an all time classic.
