Known and loved for its distinctive, rounded flavour, London Pride is the award-winning beer for which Fuller’s is most famous. In recent years its popularity has grown to the extent that it is now Britain’s leading premium ale: a welcome fixture in many pubs and off licences around the country, and now winning new friends abroad.
To the beer afficiando looking for the classic English pint, we say this: Whatever you do, take Pride.

NOTE: Most Fuller's beer in the US is served by handpump kegs (at 4.7%), not casks. Ask your server.

Cask at The Wellington, october 07. Shinny, copper/ golden color with a small, creamy, white head that leaves some beatifull lace. Malty, bittersweet flavor with some cereal, crystal malts notes. A slight nutty touch with a cereal aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, creamy, warming and medium dry finnish. Nice, rather fruity, rather neutral bitter. I think the pint was a bit tired.

Cask-conditioned at the Old Fish Market, Bristol 16/11/07. Amber coloured with a moderate white head. Aroma of caramel with some floral hops. The flavour had plenty of biscuit malt, a touch more caramel and a pleasant bitter finish. Good.

Cask (Tasted in London). Light amber colour with a little head. Aroma of floral and malt. Flavour of light malt and hops. Nothing overwelming at all.

Cask at Volo Cask Days 2007. Clear orange-amber. Both aroma and flavour are herbal and slightly earthy, with some toffee, and a great balance. A textbook session beer - I could get used to drinking this!

cask @ The Famous Virgins and Castle, Kenilworth. Light amber in colour with aromas of toffee, pale malts, and light hay. Moderate fruit flavors lead the way followed by more toffee. The hops come through on the end and carry through with a nice level of bitterness. A bit of dry biscuit comes through at the end as well. I’ve had this in a bottle and and in the keg before, but this is definitely the best presentation.

Volo Cask Days 2007. Kudos to Volo for bringing this in for the event. Soapy dry hop and malt aroma. Hazy orange, small cask bubbles in head. Caramel, malt, and some fruitiness in taste I enjoyed it without quite liking it as much as the ESB.
