CAMRA Supreme Champion Beer Of The Year 1979.
Known and loved for its distinctive, rounded flavour, London Pride is the award-winning beer for which Fuller’s is most famous. In recent years its popularity has grown to the extent that it is now Britain’s leading premium ale: a welcome fixture in many pubs and off licences around the country, and now winning new friends abroad.
To the beer afficiando looking for the classic English pint, we say this: Whatever you do, take Pride.

NOTE: Most Fuller's beer in the US is served by handpump kegs (at 4.7%), not casks. Ask your server.

My go to session bitter. London pride is quite a bit better on cask, with stronger aromas, more defined flavours, and a smooth mouthfeel. Hoppy, fruity, and a little bit of a malty nose. Very complex flavours of dark fruit, malt, hops caramel and spice. Overall a complex and wonderful bitter.

Had this in California on a hand drawn beer engine. This was on cask and not a keg. A little cloudy amber in color. Caramel and hoppiness and a little spice. Very nice. I had about 5 of these. Should have had more.

Pours amber / golden colour. Off-white head. Medium body with sweet / hoppy taste, also some spice. Clean / crisp finish. Make for decent drinking.

Comments: A rather sweet bitter that may be a bit too malty to be sessionable or at least not bright enough in hoppiness.

Gravity Cask @ Cafe Volo, Toronto, Ontario. Hazy orange headless body. Pleasant bitterness throughout, very modest malt and mild citrus hops in both the flavour and the aroma. Light orange notes in the finish and aftertaste. Average palate is under carbonated but surprisingly full bodied for a cask. Probably not at its peak, but remains a quaffable session brew. A very nice morning pint on the patio. 6+/3-3+/7/3/14

A landmark beer for us Londoners. Pours a rich creamy amber beer with notes of spices and fruit. Quite a complex beer with a sense of maturation informing the nose and mouth.

Cask. At The King’s Arms, Waterloo, London. This is an excellent bitter, clean, crisp, refreshing, no weird aftertastes - but it suffered in comparison to the pint of Bombadier which preceded it, so I’ll try to be objective. Light clear gold-amber pour, average cask head. Mild malt aroma and very soft grassy/floral hops - balanced, but a tad weak. The flavour is dry, moderately sweet, but enough light hops to prevent it from getting too much so. Fairly light body, typical cask bitter carbonation and so forth - refreshing, clean, but ultimately a lot less memorable than I was expecting - the pint was in terrific shape, so no complaints there.

Cask @ The Harcourt Arms, Oxford. Pours a clear amber color with a small white head. Malty aroma with some hoppy hints. Sweet malty and fruity flavor with some hints of hops. Smooth malty finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.
