CAMRA Supreme Champion Beer Of The Year 1979.
Known and loved for its distinctive, rounded flavour, London Pride is the award-winning beer for which Fuller’s is most famous. In recent years its popularity has grown to the extent that it is now Britain’s leading premium ale: a welcome fixture in many pubs and off licences around the country, and now winning new friends abroad.
To the beer afficiando looking for the classic English pint, we say this: Whatever you do, take Pride.

NOTE: Most Fuller's beer in the US is served by handpump kegs (at 4.7%), not casks. Ask your server.

Cask - Blue Boar, Norwich. Small head, clear amber colour. Malty aroma. Very smooth feel on the palate. Fruity with a lasting bitter finish. A good yet simple beer.

One of my favourite beers. Wish I could get it outside the UK. Looks good, tastes good. Fine colour, hoppy. From the cask, truly a great beer!

Copper with a small white head leaving a little lace. Malt and grassy hops aroma, with some caramel and toffee. Gentle bitterness but with some hop flavour. Soft and velvet mouthfeel.

Cask at The Falcon, Clapham Junction, London. Pour a clear copper-amber with very little head. Aroma and flavour are sweet and fruity along with caramel malt, some light hops and a dry finish. Average bodied. Just O.K., I like it better in the bottle.

1/2 pint at the St. James Tavern in London on 5-25-07. Dark gold with a 1 finger off white head that left some nice lacing. Malt and very faint hops on this one. Grassy hops, cardboard, woody, stale malt, and charred earth on the initial taste. Malt and woody earth to finish. A more medium hand-drawn palate with no carbonation. A fairly solid bitter. Got a bit watery towards the end though.

Had this at Nicholson’s ’The Mudlark’ pub in London, UK. Clear, dark amber with quickly dissipating bubbly head and nice lace. Malty, caramelized sweetness and ripe, fruity notes with a sweet yet bitter aftertaste. Lighly tart, smooth mouthfeel. Complemented my fish and chips perfectly!

Cask (Pullman Bar, Helsinki) Rich copper ale colour, little head. Honey and caramel malt aroma. Honey, bitter and malted grain very well coordinated. Classic English bitter. Finnish is malty.
