Smooth and a bit restrained aroma with a little malt, and no notice of the hop character. Soft mouthfeel, almost creamy, with hops becoming more obvious after a little while. The finish is more distinct with a refreshing crisp hop bitterness. Some roasted malt character can also be found in the finish. nice and smooth and very drinkable. Rune (2844), Tromsø, Norway
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 1, 2006 Well made pint served in room temperature. Light floral aroma. Chestnut coloured body, slightly hazy. Very low head. Well rounded taste of fruity bitterness and malty sweetness. Medium palate. Alright, but I still prefer the bottle version (Pakenham Arms, Clerkenwell 14.09.2006). jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 25, 2006 Cask at Fuller’s Ale and Pie House, Southwark, London. It seems with this bitter that many pubs that aren’t run by Fuller’s or other conscientious people have trouble serving it to its potential. Here, however, it shines. Deep ruby-blonde color, complex floral hop and pale malt aroma. Lovely refreshing flavor with a solid, rounded malt aftertaste. If only it were enjoyable like this every time. Refreshing delicate malt with a nice toastiness, fresh, lightly citrus hops, and a touch of bitterness to finish each sip. This is a really solie bitter. labologist (55), Bramhall, England
