Known and loved for its distinctive, rounded flavour, London Pride is the award-winning beer for which Fuller’s is most famous. In recent years its popularity has grown to the extent that it is now Britain’s leading premium ale: a welcome fixture in many pubs and off licences around the country, and now winning new friends abroad.
To the beer afficiando looking for the classic English pint, we say this: Whatever you do, take Pride.

NOTE: Most Fuller's beer in the US is served by handpump kegs (at 4.7%), not casks. Ask your server.

Cask, The White Lion, Covent Garden: Clear amber with an off-white staying head. Sweet fruits aroma (poached), some yeast. Not great, and not helped by the pub’s choice of a Whitney Houston album for atmosphere... Harsh bitters and burnt orange caramel flavours with gree, woody herbs. Not very pleasant.

Cask : The George, Holborn. The reason Ive rated this so low, is not the beer. The beer is a fine exaple of a classic English bitter. Its the fact that 90% of pride Ive had is rubbish, in bad comdition, flavourless and usually a funny colour(a dead give-away)

Dark, amber-orange beer with a creamy white head. A light, mellow nose of malty tones of bitter-sweet caramel, but with a touch of citrusy hop in the finish. The taste is slightly dry and bitter, the citrusy hop element being more predominant, and the malty note in the background. The aftertaste is smooth and rounded. (Draught - The Rose & Crown, Snettisham, Norfolk).

Pulled at the English Pub in Florida. Wow, for all beers to drink to be this good. Malty, hoppy, but smooth as can be. One of the best bitters I have ever had.

Was amazed that I hadn’t rate this as it is an old favourite. This pint was pulled at The Rose & Crown in St Michaels Village, St Albans (Hertfordshire), settled to a clear amber with a white bubbly head. The aromas is a pleasant combination of caramal maltiness and some fruity hops.A great strong malty flavour, a smooth mouthfeel giving way to a bitter aftertaste.

Great amber colour, practically no (white) head. Rather sour and fruity taste with a malty aroma.
