CAMRA Supreme Champion Beer Of The Year 1979.
Known and loved for its distinctive, rounded flavour, London Pride is the award-winning beer for which Fuller’s is most famous. In recent years its popularity has grown to the extent that it is now Britain’s leading premium ale: a welcome fixture in many pubs and off licences around the country, and now winning new friends abroad.
To the beer afficiando looking for the classic English pint, we say this: Whatever you do, take Pride.

NOTE: Most Fuller's beer in the US is served by handpump kegs (at 4.7%), not casks. Ask your server.

Cask @ The Anchor, Wingham, Kent. Reddish copper in colour. Some caramel malt on the nose, some hoppy bitterness on end, slightly sweet throughout. Not at its best, but ok

Clear, dark ambercoloured beer, very small head. Slightly sweet, some caramel. Then some marmelade-bitterness kicks in, but I wouldn’t call this very bitter at all. I think I would call it rather uninteresting.

Beautiful appearance, malty aroma and caramel taste. Could have had just a little more length of bitterness at the finish. Otherwise a great beer.

Cask@Charlies. Amber with small white head. Weak aroma. Smooth and soft. Nice round taste with good bitter aftertaste.

I’ve always been unimpressed by this beer. It’s hard to find without unbearably (to me anyway) high levels of diacetyl.

Cask: Good beer. Somewhat spicey finish. Malty, but still very well-balanced. Bitter fimish.

[cask in London’s Hung Drawn and Quartered] Clear, golden brown with a bubbly, beer engine head. Perfectly balanced aroma of caramel malt and english hops. The flavour is bursting with caramel malt flavour and some walnut, followed by the hops flavour and then nice bittering. Some residual sweetness and crisp finish. Medium body and very low carbonation. A bit mouth coating.

Cask @ The Wharf, Aalborg, DK. Light copper/golden colour with a white head. Hoppy, sweetish aroma - not so powerful. Flavour is equally hoppy and sweetish. Not a lot of nuances, but very drinkable. Feels very smooth.
