Ingredients: Pale malt; Target, Challenger and Northdown hops.
CAMRA Supreme Champion Beer Of The Year 1979.
Known and loved for its distinctive, rounded flavour, London Pride is the award-winning beer for which Fuller’s is most famous. In recent years its popularity has grown to the extent that it is now Britain’s leading premium ale: a welcome fixture in many pubs and off licences around the country, and now winning new friends abroad.
To the beer afficiando looking for the classic English pint, we say this: Whatever you do, take Pride.

NOTE: Most Fuller's beer in the US is served by handpump kegs (at 4.7%), not casks. Ask your server.

On cask at a pub in Pimlico. Burnt orange colour. Malty. Fruit tastes, including orange and citrus. Spicy flavour with notes of caramel. Fair enough.

Half pint from cask at Charlies. Pours copper brown, golden and clear with a white head. Mild floral and fruity flavour on tops of a nice caramel malt base. Finish is mild malty, little bitterness.

Cask at the Brewery Tap, Wimbledon Village, 11th Sept 2007. Clear dark amber. Malty aroma with a bit of roasted barley. Flavour is bland - malt & hops. Weight is ok. London Pride can be found everywhere in the capital, but ubiquity doesn’t necessarily mean quality. Not bad and often the only real ale on offer, but not one of my faves.

[684-20070925] Cask @ Eagle & Child (Oxford, OX). Sweet apple yeast aroma with a bit of doughy caramel. Slightly hazy, brown orange body with a medium creamy white head. Fruity bitter hops flavour. Medium body has bitter finish. Nice, nothing outrageous.

cask a Londres, cette bière sans mousse de belle arôme de houblon, servie à température pièce, à mon goût nord-américain je préfère la version bouteille mais c’est quand même une grande bière.

Cask at The Wellington, october 07. Shinny, copper/ golden color with a small, creamy, white head that leaves some beatifull lace. Malty, bittersweet flavor with some cereal, crystal malts notes. A slight nutty touch with a cereal aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, creamy, warming and medium dry finnish. Nice, rather fruity, rather neutral bitter. I think the pint was a bit tired.
