Wombler (27), , Greater London, England Oct 4, 2008 An ale that is in every other pub but not always in the best of nick. Tip top it’s a very passable session beer with a decent head, sweetness, fruitiness and overall well balanced. MrAleman (112), guildford, Surrey, England Sep 17, 2008 Updated: Sep 19, 2008Its the stand out ale in the country of England and for good reason. I am to call it the best ale. Yeah best ale in England! albertane (300), Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England Sep 13, 2008 Cask at the Peacock, Nottingham. This is amber coloured with a good balance of malt and hops flavours (with some nice caramel sweetness). I assumed this would be much better from the cask than the pasteurised bottled version. It’s not much better. lindsey7638 (4), , Maryland, USA does not count Aug 20, 2008 Had this beer at Fullers Brewery while on Holiday in London. Pours a translucent amber with a beige head. Has a sweet aroma and flavor. chicagodri (541), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 14, 2008 Had this on cask when I was in London on vacation. Pours a clear amber with a white head. Sweet aroma. Flavor was mainly malt, with just a little bit of bitterness. Decent beer.
