Kavu (94), Jyväskylä, Finland Jan 17, 2009 Pours light amber with a surprisingly resilient white thick head. Aroma is full of different fruits. The flavor is quite fruity with a suitably bitter finish and some hops. Very nice indeed. jcross2306 (2), Westminster, Colorado, USA does not count Jan 16, 2009 I first tried a can of this beer on a British Airways flight from London to Denver about seven years ago. I recently discovered this beer again in a local bottle shop. What a find! It is as good as I remembered it being, but even better in the bottle. beerlady (443), lucerne, Switzerland Jan 15, 2009 orangeish-bronce colored beer with

Yeasty, bready aroma with a nice hoppy note, Flavor is fairly standard pale ale: yeasty, soft malt over some bitter hops. Earthy and pleasant. Good. notalush (2627), Denver, Colorado, USA Jan 5, 2009 A pretty straightforward traditional british pale, with no apparent flaws - a smooth malt base lays the groundwork for moderate challenger bitterness - a wee bit of diacetyl/butterscotch flavors underneath this, which is pretty common for british styles, and it works pretty well - slightly bready in the finish - there are far better bitters out there, but you have to give respect to the originals. blutt59 (2042), Dallas, Texas, USA Jan 4, 2009 can, pours almond brown with waterfall head, aroma is sweet with sweet malty flavor that finishes dry and bitter webbcreative (111), , Oklahoma, USA Jan 3, 2009 Updated: Feb 4, 2009pours an amber color. i got a 1 finger head, with moderate lacing. smells or sweet malt, and some hops, kinda earthy. Tastes bready, has a pretty good carbonation. Getting a bit of bitterness but its okay here. little fruity, this is a pretty smooth drink for me. would LOVE to give this one a try on tap. im really liking this one the more i drink it! This brew, at the present time, is my favorite pale ale. Butters (1622), Virginia, USA Jan 2, 2009 Clear yellow amber pour with a soap sud head. Light floral and fruity hop nose. Citrus grassy hop flavor. Resiny mouthfeel. Kinda boring to me actually.
