Loose, sudsy grayish head across the top. Sweet, cloying, somewhat artificial nose. Bready malts and CO2 there. Watery body, almost to the point of medium. Caramel, crackers, bready malts on the mid-palate, with a mild finish. mrhoppy (209), Santa Clara, California, USA

Nutty, rich caramel malt flavor, toasty and roasty, yet a great mild hop balance. I really enjoy this beer - for me, a great session beer. MexiFinn (43), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 13, 2009 Very drinkable brew...rich dark golden pour (amber highlights) with robust white head. Hop aromas...herbal and earthy. Very rich creamy texture, perfect for the caramel and toffee maltiness. The English hops are pretty substantial...goes well with spicy Indian cuisine, herbal and earthy bitterness cleaseses the palate very well.. BeerChaser0078 (315), Melbourne, Australia
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 13, 2009 330ml Bottle. Pours clear light amber with a fairly small off-white head that doesn’t last long. Nose consists mainly of sweet malt and caramel with a touch of hops. Flavour is much the same with a nice amount of hop bitterness plus hints of grass and toffee. Mouthfeel is a bit thin and watery but otherwise this is a pretty fine beer. fredthecat (186), Canada
