50cl bottle. Very balanced hoppy taste, one of the best ales I have tried.

500. Pours crystal clear, very slightly ruddy, coppery medium amber. Loose, sudsy grayish head across the top. Sweet, cloying, somewhat artificial nose. Bready malts and CO2 there. Watery body, almost to the point of medium. Caramel, crackers, bready malts on the mid-palate, with a mild finish.

Not very good to me. I thought it tasted like an English Corona.......and down the drain it went.

Tall can. Little colder than I wanted it to be. So many flavors. Flowery, peppery aroma. Nutty, rich caramel malt flavor, toasty and roasty, yet a great mild hop balance. I really enjoy this beer - for me, a great session beer.

This ale is absolutely one of my favorite beers ever, can’t really add anything that hasn’t already been written about it here... other than I hope that I run across it here in the U.S. Great stuff, cheers!

Very drinkable brew...rich dark golden pour (amber highlights) with robust white head. Hop aromas...herbal and earthy. Very rich creamy texture, perfect for the caramel and toffee maltiness. The English hops are pretty substantial...goes well with spicy Indian cuisine, herbal and earthy bitterness cleaseses the palate very well..

330ml Bottle. Pours clear light amber with a fairly small off-white head that doesn’t last long. Nose consists mainly of sweet malt and caramel with a touch of hops. Flavour is much the same with a nice amount of hop bitterness plus hints of grass and toffee. Mouthfeel is a bit thin and watery but otherwise this is a pretty fine beer.

smell is wood and spices a little metallic. it is amber-orange with a head that fades away, taste is malty, bready yeasty, almost apple cider taste in it and a little hops. its smooth but a little watery.
