Very good overall. jonsiii (157), Fredericia, Denmark Aug 22, 2008 Bottle. Cobber colour, small quickly disappering head. Hoppy aroma, nice bitter taste. Very drinkable. cluny6 (115), Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England Aug 17, 2008 From bottle. This is a goood looking dark amber ale with good head that quickly dissipates. light roasted malt aroma with some sters. Taste is slightly malty, fruity with medium hoppiness.Good commercial ale. B Chrism86 (273), Melbourne, Australia Aug 15, 2008 Enters the glass a deep amber tending to copper with a small head that disperses rather fast. The nose displays significant caramel and toffee with a hint of apricot. Flavour profile is much of the same with some sweet biscuity malt coming into play and the late onset of earthy hop bitterness adding balance. Steinface (77), Hatfield, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 14, 2008 Had this on tap in a B&B in Bath, England. Still one of the most memorable beers I’ve had there Gadget17 (1), Sutton, Surrey, England does not count Aug 13, 2008 Nice ale I enjoy usually when away from London visiting my Dad in the Isle of Wight. DrFunk (80), Sorumsand, Norway Aug 3, 2008 Bottle from ICA, Lorenskog. Pours clear amber with firm offwhite head.Malty aroma with green tea, probably from the hops. Low but suiting carbo. quite bitter. Dry finish. A descent beer Kevman (28), Windsor, Ontario, Canada Aug 2, 2008 Poured from can with hardly any head at all, a nice burnt orange colour with mild lacing. Smelled of malt and citrus. Had a nice flavour of hops and malt, aswell as a citrusy finish. I also noticed that you couldn’t taste the alcohol, really nice beer.
