RuneStumo (495), FØRRESFJORDEN, Norway Aug 1, 2008 01.08.2008, o,33l bottle, BB 06.04.2009 066. The colour is golden amber, and the beer is clear. Almost no head.Malty nose, mediumbody, dissapointing aftertast, its more sweet than bitter. Indulgence (141), Ajo, Arizona, USA Jul 31, 2008 Tasted during outage: A nice, rich amber looking beer that pours a good 2 finger head and settles with some a good lace, light hop aromas well balanced with the malts, balance is the beer as not one single element is overpowering. an easy drinker that quenches the thirst with nice flavors, nice sessionable beer, one of my favorite brand of beers, Fullers, getyasum. Cruzan59 (197), Lititz, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 29, 2008 12oz bottle at Annie Bailey’s Irish Pub, Lancaster, PA...pours cream soda in color, easy pour so no head to speak of...malty aroma...flavor of malts, caramel - not overly sweet though, subtle hops in the background...good beer to have quite a few. bgiamatei (225), São Paulo, Brazil Jul 27, 2008 Boa cerveja. Coloração caramelo, espuma ambar. Bem lupulada e aveludada. 502Flavors (617), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Jul 17, 2008 12 oz into shaker. Nice amber color with a very minimal head and no visible carbonation. The aroma is kind of weak but pretty good - caramel malt and faint bittering hops. The flavor is also pretty weak, and I didn’t like it much till the last half of the glass when I started picking up some more subtle flavors - cherries and sweet candy sugar, almost like a Belgian; aside from these subtle, hard to find notes, there is only a kind of funky malt and grass bittering hops flavor. No signs of alcohol though. It is light bodied on the palate with no carbonation and a pretty watery texture. Overall: this beer was fine, nothing special though. Sessionable. JasonG (700), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jul 15, 2008 pint can - Pours a fairly clear medium copper/amber color with smallish creamy off white head. Aroma has light caramel, touch of apricot and pear, slight biscuit notes. Flavor has chewy malts, light caramel, touch of apricot and vanilla, hints of herbal hops. Finish has a firm but not overwhelming bitterness. DSG (1501), Tel Aviv, Israel Jul 15, 2008 Updated: Jan 18, 2009(11/2/08) Bottle at Hamilton’s in San Diego. Clear amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, light earthiness, some hoppiness and fruity notes. Flavor is sweet with caramelly malt, toast notes and a rather bitter and hoppy finish with light floral notes. Medium-bodied but maybe a tad too thin. Quite nice.
