Pours with a nice amber color, but with a thin head. Has a nice malty flavor with a smooth finish. Very easy to have more than one.

It was just so so so nice to be able to try this legendary beer on tap here in the Antipodes. It was luscious, creamy, hoppy and malty. It was almost everything that I expected it to be, but not quite like the Twisted Ho Challenger that was based on it. I’m not sure if travel was a factor, but the Challenger does taste so good near its source. Nothing against London Pride. I recommend people to it all the time.

0.33L bottle, smallish quickly dissapearing head, crysrtal clear light copper colour with a steady stream of bubbles. Strong malty aroma with notes of caramel, honey, hops and some qxidised notes in the back. Strong bitterness acompanied by some herbal and peachy notes and some oxidation appearing in the back. aftertste is bitter and long with some peach and mango joining in.

Crystal clear amber in color with a small fluffy white head. Flavor is sticky and sweet. Reminded me a bit like watered down maple syrup, with a slight hoppiness in the mid-palate. Not a favorite but would have again in a pinch.

Since I live in London, I have obviously had this one quite a few times in local pubs, and I do rather like it.
Appearance: Dark brown, nice amount of head. Aroma: Citricy, fruity. Taste: Malty, particular aftertaste. Info: 500ml bottle, 21/9-2005, 22/300, 13/500

Pours a golden orange with a small soapy white head. Aroma of malts, and a little fruit. Flavor of malts and fruits and bread. Very smooth slightly sweet finish. Decent brew.

On tap at the Ginger Man. Pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of light fruits (esp. raspberry), wheat. The aroma is very inviting and the beer smells better than it tastes. Watery palate. Flavor of light fruits (blueberry), raisin, dark fruits (esp as the beer warms). An odd mesh of flavors. Just ok for me.

On tap at Ginger Man. Surprisingly rich aroma of toasted malt, bread, red and dark fruits, most notable plum. Flavor kind of a letdown, breadiness disappears, leaving some weak malt and less fruitiness. Pretty watery. Big fan of Fullers ESB, so this was a letdown.
