4.7% ABV version, 50cl bottle: One word for that beer: balanced. A spicy/earthy and slightly citrussy hop aroma with nutty, woody notes and a light overall whiff of yeast-byproducts. An orange-amber colour with a vanishing, off-white head. The flavour is characterised by a nutty/caramel maltiness with a lovely tobacco-like hop spiciness for balance. Pleasantly mouthfilling but still highly drinkable. A bittersweet, lingering finish - high-quality beer.

Nice colour but head was small. Very fruity and well balanced between malt and hops. Caramel notes. Quite good.

50cl bottle, as shown. Clear, deep golden amber colour, wee soft head but generous retention. Aroma of orchard fruit and fudge. Medium to low carbonation. Citrus notes and grassy hops dominate the taste, with an agreeably dry, resinous finish and (lasting) aftertaste. Medium body and mouthfeel. A little fresher, and a little less characterful, than the same company’s "ESB" - very obviously a perfect session beer: Well-balanced, fruity, just a smooth drink.

Nice russet pour and malt nose, with hints of current. Excellent mouthfeel, malts, touch of citrus, hints of tobacco and leather. Really, really nice beer.

Pours a nice golden color with a quickly diminishing head. Very nice aromas of sweet caramel malts. Other notes of some spice and fruit are also noticeable. The flavor tends to be like the aroma. Sweet caramel malts up front leading to a nice crisp, almost light and fruity finish. Very sessionable.

(bottle). Clear copper color. Medium off white head, which is mostly diminishing. Light hoppy and metallic aroma and flavor. Avg duration. Smooth, slightly bitter finish. Slick texture. Soft carbonation. Spare lacing.

Pint can from the "mystery 6 pack" at Andy’s Flat were it not for the body that holds it. Barely any head. Thick feeling. Toffee and flowery hop aroma. Starts with caramel then a mild flower bitter then sweet then ending a flat feel that lets mild non bitter hops linger. Interestingly good.
