Outstanding Premium Ale.
"London Pride is a smooth and astonishingly complex beer, which has a distinctive malty base complemented by a rich balance of well developed hop flavours from the Target, Challenger and Northdown varieties in the brew."

Pours a clear pale copper with two fingers of creamy off-white head; nice lacing. The flavor is of dusty, fruity malt, minerals spicy/earthy hops. Light to medium-bodied and soft with a dry mineral finish. The flavor is of fruity, toasty caramel malt with a mildly spicy/earthy hop finish. Fairly fairly complex for 4.7% ABV and similar to Fullers ESB, but along with a decrease in ABV comes a downgrade in mouthfeel and flavor. It’s a solid session brew, but I can’t think of any reason that I’d choose this beer over their ESB.

Thanks to ekstedt & friends. Light amber with a white head. Notes of caramel and fudge. Light, bitter taste, somewhat metallic. Very light carbonation. Soft mouthfeel.

Although this beer has a musky somewhat bitter aftertaste, it did go down smoothly. It’s just OK but probably not something I would pick up again. I did not hate it but it was OK. I would recommend it to someone who likes beer with an edge or tinge in it’s taste.

(Draught at Salhojankadun Pub on 2008-02-28) Copper colour, clear. Hardly any head. Light malty nose. Some bitterness and bit of malts in taste. A bit musty taste.

draught. caramel colour, not much aroma, light palate. Malty taste, a bit watery for me. Pleasant enough for drinking.

clear orange with a surprising chocolate flavor tone that fades into a bitter, mediciney aftertaste

Had this at a Irish pub in Madrid, Spain. Nice brown/orange color. Has a clean malty aroma with crisp hops. Very smooth and creamy with a slightly sour finish.

I wish that this beer was widely available in the States. I had it in a pub in London and I really want to have it again... A nice light caramel color... its pretty inconspicuous when its first put in front of you, but the flavor is great. Its a sort of a sweet caramel-y flavor that makes it very pleasant to drink. I’m going to be searching for this one all over California... hopefully Bevmo sells it.
