Bottle - Clear copper with thin off white head. Medium carbonation. Very smooth and well balanced. Long bitter finish. An excellent drop!

Copper / brown colour with a thin off-white head. Malty aroma. Flavour: Sweet and slightly fruity. Medium bodied with low to average carbonation and a nice hoppy bitterness which is especially present in the dry and crisp finish. A very enjoyable beer. - 500ml brown bottle.

Pours almost clear yellow copper brown light colored. A marvel of a mixure of the 3 main beer colors. 3/4 inch frothy delicious foam head. Aroma of stone malts, and off the hook hops. Incredibly smooth, flavor dominated by really really mild malt, and finishes with a kiss of hops. No lacing. Very boring really, despite being good, kinda flat and bland, not that bitter at all. Just a little.

Aroma is of sweet toffee and kinda boozy in a cognac way and a little nutty. Finishes dry and nutty.

Bottle. Tasting this one after Budweiser Imperial Sahti Stout inevitably will lead to a disappointment. Nevet the less. here we go. Amber colour with medium white head. Aroma very maltdominated with notes of fresh fruits as well. Taste malty with a little bitterness as well, very smooth beer. A nice session beer.

Pours a nice reddish amber with a thin white head. The aroma is most malt, but it was hard to pick out individual notes because the bar was pretty smokey. The flavor is quite nice - caramel, vanilla, apple, pear and maybe a bit of hazelnut to round out the taste. The apple/pear flavor from the hops adds a very refreshing, yet mild bitterness that shines really shines through the other flavors. The mouthfeel is a little bit prickly with carbonation, but doesn’t really detract. Good beer.

A good example of what I don’t like about English beer. Thin, weak, flat, flavours didn’t do it for me. Other people seem to like it, got to call em as I see em. Not for me thanks, just not my thing. In fact, shite. I know nothing though...
