pforei (338), USA Mar 5, 2008 Clear copper with quickly dissipating head. Malty; honey-cookie and butterscotch/caramel with faint floral/earthy hop. Herbal/earthiness mixes well with the honey sweetness at the finish. Mild bitterness. Light and easy to drink. Fukito (604), Buenos Aires, Argentina Mar 5, 2008 Bottle, november 07. Shinny copper/ golden color with a medium, creamy, white head. Sherry, fruity, dried fruits aroma with some slight butterscotch notes. Nice. Nice, nutty, bittersweet fruity flavor. Balanced with a gentle fruity/ nutty finnish. Medium to light mouthfeel, warming with some chewy malts but a bit bland and a short aftertaste. Nice, nutty/ fruity bitter. corby112 (671), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 4, 2008 Pours a dark amber color with a foamy head. Malty aroma with a nice amount of biter hops. Extremely smooth tasting session beer. A nice malty base perfectly balanced out by a nice bitter hop finish. Excellent! sirPino (855), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Mar 3, 2008 Rated:24.01.2007
Bottle 500ml, nice,brown
Beige, off white head, quite nice lacing, body is reddish, but still amber, aroma is easilly perceptable and nice, some English earthy Challenger hops, clean and crisp malts, a bit waxy. When it comes to flavour: honey, some strange hoppy - spicy accents like onion, wax, earthy and complex bitterness, unripe refreshing kiwi, so very complex but somehow hard to determine and not that exposed as I’ve expected. Actually aroma was much better, interesting and inviting and the taste is less vivid and seems a bit pale (as compared to the aroma of course). Zinister (1198), Houston, Texas, USA Mar 2, 2008 Can...first time I’ve seen that. Thanks Kaggie97 for handing me this. Reddish amber pour with nice initial white head that turns small after a few minutes. Malt, floral hops and grass on the aroma. Taste is typical British Bitter...bitter, malty, soft hops and a bit of nuttyness. Easy to drink and perfect on a Sunday afternoon. jason (1620), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 28, 2008 Draft. Poured a clear golden red body with thin head. Aroma is floral, malty. Flavor is bitter, malty and light hops. themightyomega (82), New York, USA Feb 27, 2008 Bottle. Pours copper brown, white head, nice lacing in the glass. Aromas of fresh bread and malt. Taste of malt first, finishing with a little mild bitterness. Mild and nicely blananced to my rather weird palate. Good body. WillieV (191), Maryland, USA Feb 26, 2008 Bottle: Light brown pour with a very thin semi white head. High malty scent to it. Seems a bit watered down for a pale ale. Overall flavor is not bad at all. Missing a kick at the end.
