Outstanding Premium Ale.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear golden amber with an off-white head. Aroma is dark malty and spiced hoppy aroma. Flavour is quite solid of dark malt, spiced hops, medium sweet and with a distinct hoppy based liquorice note. Ends with a lingering mix of the smooth malt and liqourice noted hops. Enjoyable!

Not the best offering by Fullers but an outstanding beer nonetheless. Excellent balance of malt with the hop variety makes this an excellent session beer.

Poured a dark amber, accompanied by a nice white head. Slighty bitter but finishes well. Worth drinking again.

Imperial Pint draft at the Elephant & Castle (Huron Street). Poured a nice lively copper with a nice head that quickly dissipated. Aromas of hops and ligher malts. Pleasant, to say the least. Intial taste was fairly malty, and lacking on the hops in my opinion. However, overall the taste was great and the beer was highly sessionable. A nice bitter finish that I find appropriate for beers of this style. Smooth and light bodied. Would drink again, but would grab the ESB of the same brewer before so.

11.2 oz bottle. Got this from a variety pack from World Market, the Beers of the World tackle box. This is the first one I picked to drink. Mainly because i love this style of beer and the bottle is interesting. Not as good as other pale ales i have tried (ie Sierra Nevada) but its definitely drinkable, slightly bitter with nice hops, wish it had more citrus notes. But overall, a good start. Also, it is more malty than hoppy.

11.2 oz bottle. Pours a clear, copper with a massive white head that is quickly diminishing. Aroma of apple and malt. Flavor is generally tangy, bitter, and a little malty. Aftertaste is short lasting but bitter and pleasant. Extensive lacing, light carbonation, and very light alcohol. I prefer this on tap to the bottle, but very drinkable either way.

Nice dark amber color, looks promising but is a bit week. Tastes watered down both in the bottle and on tap. A decent beer that you can drink alot of.
