Oct 1, 2007 The color was a medium golden/orange. The head was thin and off-white. The aroma was caramel malt and some sour notes. The flavor was caramel malt, some sour notes, and some hoppy bitterness. The palate was thin and the finish was a little abrupt.

Oct 1, 2007 Pours a pretty standard pale ale/bitter. Coppery orange with a thin slightly creamy off white head. Pretty standard english style. Smells earthy and herbal hops, basementy, caramel sweetness. Taste has a moderate hop background, sessionable, noticeable malt sweetness, toned down herbal hops. Not bad overall.

Sep 30, 2007 A landmark beer for us Londoners. Pours a rich creamy amber beer with notes of spices and fruit. Quite a complex beer with a sense of maturation informing the nose and mouth.
