Single bottle into an English pint glass. A solid English pale, malty and bready with a dose of hops to remember.

Draught at the Queen & Beaver in Toronto. Pours a fairly clear amber/copper colour with moderate, lasting off-white-ish head. Mild spice and fruits prominent in the nose. Malty flavour with notes of fruit and brown sugar. Warm finish, not overly bitter. Gentle carbonation. Alright but I’ll confess I didn’t love it.

seriously, this tastes like blood. Tons of iron taste and lots of protein. Kind of creepy, but kind of fun. Like the drinking True Blood. bottle at Zeke’s roadhouse, $4.

500ml can. Light clear copper colour with a moderate white head. Aroma is nice, malt, hops, and a note of sweetness. Burst of flavour right up front, smooth and clean mouthfeel. Nice hop flavour all the way through, and slight hop bitterness. Has a somewhat weaker aftertaste than I’d like, but overall, I really enjoy this.

Poured a hazy orange colour beneath a frothy off-white head of perhaps two fingers in depth. The aroma was rather gentle, with malt and hop respectively. Taste was quite bitter (must be lots of hops going on in here) but I did like it, and it finished bitter, too. Decent mouth, but nothing outstanding. Drinkable, and worth having again.

Pours a nice light amber color with a white head. Malty aroma, sort of hoppy too, but not very strong. Tasted a bit bitter for my palate, probably not going to go for their ESB. Nevertheless, it did have a good taste. It was a little sweet, and had a little bit of spice presence. I think for most, it would be a good drinking beer.

Bottled. Golden with white head. Aroma of malt with red fruit. Flavor is with hints of caramel malt and hop spices.
