i found the beer to be medium in body and very light in flavor. actually i could discern very little flavor other than light broomstraw and a light hop remnant on the middle of the palate. the beer is not particularly watery or thin as i see it, but i find it insubstantiate. i can not in all sincerity be sure what i tasted other than that it was beer and it was not offensive in any way. as the English like i suppose.

Very red pour like old rust. Clear and filtered. Weak head just skimming the surface. Very stong scent of malts with some flowery scents and licorice mixed with something sweet. Very thick and flavourful mouth. Definate licorice, lots of malts, flowers again and a hint of spice (cinamon?) Very rich and filling. A slight taste of nuts and sweet raisins in the finish. A slight lingering bite on the tonge. A rather nice ale.

Draft. Nice color and some piney aroma. Creamy mouthfeel. Excellent malt and hop balance, and good for normal drinking.

Bottled 50cl. It pours a beautiful amber beer with a slightly tanned and nicely remaining head. A lot of tiny bubbles rise from the bottom of the glass. The aroma is wonderfully leafy. Lots of peaches and oranges in the nose too. Slightly metallic. Also a lot of hops. The taste is very enjoyable. A perfectly well balanced beer. Good mouthfeel. Biscuity, leafy, fruity, with hints of honey. Wild strawberries, mango, flowers and soap show up. Very smooth. Some lingering licorice-like elements in the finish. This beer leaves a beautiful lacing. A most enjoyable experience. Rerate: Great. Easy drinking. Sweeter than I expected comparing the initial rating. Hints of candy floss showing up. Perfectly balanced. Great. I will stick to the initial rating (maybe slightly to high). But this is definately a beer I really enjoyed.
