500ml can. Pours a nice golden-orange colour, with a rich creamy head that’ll take some time to settle. The aroma is malty of course, hoppy, some pineapple, caramel, citrus, I was expecting banana but it’s mostly piney and citrusy. Flavour is more of the same but very smooth, less tang than I thought there would be given the very evident elements of pineapples. There’s a tiny hop bite in the finish. The carbonation is non-existent in the taste despite the carbonated look of the beer in the glass. Nice brew over-all but nothing spectacular. EDIT: This one definitely grew on me. I love the malt character to it, and the hops add a great sense of balance to the whole picture. A good go-to-session-brew.

Cold 16.9oz bottle: Pours a clear burnt orange color with a small light tan head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is of rich malts, citrus, caramel and earth. Taste is of rich malts, subtle earthy hops and notes of citrus and caramel. Medium bodied and smooth, with ample carbonation. Ending is of malt, citrus and caramel.

A very subtle beer. Not nearly as good as the ESB. This beer is well-constructed, but it is sort of a "light beer," in a non-derogatory sense. Pretty thin in the palate. Subtle but elegant hops.I agree with Michael Jackson regarding the complexity of the hops. It’s the portfolios of hops that make this beer and the ESB special. A nice light caramelly maltiness. Not much complexity there. Very well balanced. This beer just isn’t for me. If I want a beer this mild, I’ll usually go with a pilsner, which is drier and more refreshing. The sweet maltiness seems to clash with food. I suppose this would be a good "session beer" for just drinking with friends in the pub.

Draught @ The Pub. The pour looked like apple cider. The aroma had as much fruit as it did bitterness. Flavor was definitely malty but more fruit than bitter. There was also a hint of spices. Mouthfeel was very light. I probably would not have this again.

12 oz bottle. Poured an roangey/copper with a quickly disipating bubbly white head. Body appeared flat and there was not much visible carbonation. Thin body with some lively carbonation towards the end. Malt dominant flavor with a slight bit of hops towards the end. Seemed pretty basic with nothing special going on.
