Jun 17, 2007 Bottle. Sour caramel malt aroma. Reddish amber with moderate head. Caramel malt and light citrus hops flavor - well blended. This bottle tastes a bit old but still very nice. Need to find the cask version.

Jun 15, 2007 Good summertime brew. Pours a dark tea with a medium-ring head. Nose is a bit weaker than traditional offerings... some caramel and copper. Mouthfeel shows lively carbo levels and feels light and right for the lawnmower. Flavors have some biscuit and hopped-back. There is some caramel/toffee effervescence, and the slightly metallic (copper penny) finish doesn’t mess up the balance. Aftereffects show that the bitter builds in intensity from beginning to end, mixing well with the biscuit. All-in-all, a good beer. Won’t knock your socks off for complexity, but it doesn’t matter... it’s a decent offering.

Jun 4, 2007 500 ml can. Crystal clear amber colour. Thick white fluffy head. Orange and apricot aromas mixed with a little bread. Crisp hop flavours and a little bitterness. Smooth texture with little carbonation. Texture is somewhat oily. Malty rich flavours. Medium-bodied. Drying grassy hop flavours in the finish. Wonderful balance of malt and hop flavours.

May 27, 2007 The more English ESBs I taste, the more I enjoy the distinct bready malts, toffee, light and lingering bitterness and fizzy carbonation. London Pride is nicely balanced. Copper pour and creamy head. Aromas of toffee with notes of toast and light hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Somewhat acidic in the finish. A medium body and somewhat thin texture, but still enough fullness and carbonation to offer a nice mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

May 25, 2007 pours a clear orange with a one finger fluffy off white head. aroma is malt and some hops. has a medium body with descent lacing and carbonation. flavor is malt and hops with some pine. has a little sediment floating around and the hops really comes out at the end. not bad of a pale ale smooth transition from malt to hops, but just average compared to a lot of others.

May 24, 2007 Amber look with a small white head. Very nice aroma of pine, flowery hobs and some malty sweetness. Extremly welbalanced and enjoyable flavor with a good amount of bitterness and a underlying sweetness. The hob part of this beer is pretty complex, which makes it very interesting overall. Sleightly bitter finish, by no means too much
