Classy. SaintMatty (1197), Tallinn, Estonia May 13, 2009 500ml Bottle - Copper/amber with a small foamy head. Biscuity malt aroma with some hints of citrus and hops. Malty taste with well balanced fruity and hoppy notes with elements of raisins and citrus. The hops are noticeable, but fairly subtle. Tasty and nicely balanced. BeerBaron617 (306), Novi, Michigan, USA May 11, 2009 British sized bottle. It pours a dark brownish with a loose tan head. This beer was a solid session, nothing to write home about. It had a subtle sweetness on the nose, and the malt and hops were pretty well balanced. The price and flavor were great, so I would definitely get this again. Cheers! unclemike (834), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA May 11, 2009 Enters the glass a deep amber tending to copper with a small head that disperses rather fast. The nose displays significant caramel and toffee with a hint of apricot. Flavour profile is much of the same with some sweet biscuity malt coming into play and the late onset of earthy hop bitterness adding balance stobbe74 (655), Denmark May 11, 2009 Bottle, 50cl. Pours a golden/ambercolored beer with a white to offwhite head. The aroma i good and hoppy with english hops. The flavor is likewise good on hops, and has a rounded taste. The palate leaves a little bitterness. Really good balanced beer and very english characteristics. AWS9 (221), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada May 10, 2009 On tap. Pours honey-gold, with a slight white head. Sweet honey and malt, with a sticky, bitter hop finish. A benchmark for bitters, great stuff. DerWeg (748), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 8, 2009 A pleasantly citric-caramalty ale with nice presence and persistence of rounded hops. Draft at Prince of Ales, deep amber in the glass with solid creamy head that leaves little trace. Drinks easy and flavorful with underpinnings of ale-fruit and light yeasty-ester & hop aromas. craftycarl21 (510), South Hero, Vermont, USA May 6, 2009 Amber pour with a small white head. Aroma of molasses, honey, caramel- quite sweet. Flavor is again heavy with caramel and honey, with a more pronounced biscuit and grainy aspect. Nice mouthfeel, really tasty brew.
