The flavor is sweet fruity and slightly bitter; a fantastic balance. Definately a realy good beer. Some light cookie malt overpowered by the hops. Lightly resiny finish with medium bitterness. yespr (11645), Copenhagen O, Denmark Feb 5, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear golden amber with an off-white head. Aroma is dark malty and spiced hoppy aroma. Flavour is quite solid of dark malt, spiced hops, medium sweet and with a distinct hoppy based liquorice note. Ends with a lingering mix of the smooth malt and liqourice noted hops. Bitter dry finish. oh6gdx (8798), Vasa, Finland Feb 12, 2005 Bottled. Copper coloured, small white head which disappears quickly. Sweetish bitter and roasty aroma. Mainly bitter taste in mouth from malt and barley. Rich carbonation. In the aftertaste the bitterness contains a bit of honey. MiP (8793), Sønderborg, Denmark Jan 13, 2007 Bottle, 4.7%. Weak fruity, dusty and malty aroma. Clear copper colour, small white head. The flavour starts off caramelly and malty, and turns bitter rather quickly.
