Aroma is great, alittle fruity and with pleasant toffee. Flavor brings toffee as well, and the finish adds turns a little spicy. Very nice.... FrankJohansen (3369), Århus-Randers Crew, Denmark

This canned version of FLPr is, compared to other ’tinned’ ales(you know which) outstanding. No sign of metal here. It’s ’almost’ as good as the cask one, although not as fresh and clean. Toffee, a bit buttery in texture, nicely malty and seemingly almost perfectly balanced bitterness. Quack-Duck (3219), Bodensee/Schwarzwald, Germany

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 31, 2005 Light amber color with a thin sheen as a head. Aroma is pepper, sweet sugar and mint. Taste is almost like iced tea, with the leaves still in there. Hoppy but not my cup ’o British tea. blankboy (3207), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 3, 2005 Bottle. Pours a clear, sparkling ruby with a large fizzy white head. Mild aroma and flavour are quite grainy along with some yeast, sweet malt and a little bit of hops (Personally I would prefer more hops but I understand that this is the style they are going for). Hops show up much more in the bitter aftertaste. Overall it’s a little mild but still pretty tasty and enjoyable.
