Classic English bitter. Pours thin with a small head. Aroma is bitter hops and slightly caramelized malt. Palate is thin, but coats the tongue. Flavor is a tangible representation of the aroma. Great brew; really enjoyed this one.

Bottle. Flavours are more distinct and complex (when compared with cask) with lots of earthy and caramel notes. In no way unpleasant but unexciting and the worst of the Fullers standard beers to my mind.

Can. Reddish amber with medium off-white head. Bready, biscuity malt profile with earthy, grassy hops. Medium bodied with perfect carbonation. Very good balance between malt sweetness and a fresh bitterness in the finish.

Bottle. Nice, mellow hoppy aroma. Light foamy head. Nice malt flavor, hops start off strong and then fall flat. Overall, kind of like a combination of shredded wheat and sweaty gym sock. Disappointing. I can see the appeal, but this one isn’t for me.

Nice malty flavor and aroma. Not very hoppy at all, but it doesn’t say IPA, only PA. I liked this beer and it went very well with the Shepherd’s Pie I had the the Fox & Hounds pub. Nice beer.

thick and smooth, bready-toffee malts, warming hops. Overall, it’s mild - perfectly sessionable.
