Thin head which recedes quickly. Smelled of old growth fruit orchard. Malty and slightly sweet taste in the front fading to bitter with a surprising amount of hop. Highly drinkable. Dark fruitiness. Clear amber gradient with a creamy beige head. Medium bitterness with caramel and a lot of malt, mild-medium carbonation with that characteristic mild hoppy funk. Bittersweet doughy malt on a medium-full body. Touch of sour malt and leather. Long, dry, bitterish aftertaste. Relatively complex and a nice session. blutt59 (2114), Dallas, Texas, USA

This stuff is fairly balanced though I found it to be a little on the malty side. Overall, a great pint! zach8270 (2102), Henrietta, New York, USA

Very light aroma of caramel and possibly butterscotch. Crisp and sweet taste with a smooth hop and malt balance and a refreshing aftertaste that kind of tastes like apples. Good hints of caramel throughout. Quite tasty and refreshing. PhillyBeer2112 (2087), Orange Park, Florida, USA

sweeter than I expected from a british
