Bottled version. Toffeeish, biscuity and lightly toasty malt aroma, some light, fruity, herbal hops appear once the beer warms sufficiently. Medium copper color, clear, with a slight, fine head. Flavor is initally malty and sweet but has a pleasant influx of bitterness about midpoint that gradually increases all the way to the finish. Medium-full body. Good balance, highly drinkable.

Bottle from By the Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Definitely lived up to it’s claim as "Outstanding pale ale." Bright, clear golden-copper-orangey body with a handsome beige thin head. Honey-nut nose. Floral hops and crackery malt play works efficiently. Sweet, nutty, bitter interchanges cradle tongue with sessionable pleasure and flavorsome splendor. A.

Bottled. Pours a clear bright amber with a thick but diminishing off-white head that produces some lace. Aromas of toffee and grassy hops. Medium body. The taste is nutty, with withe toffee and grapefruit. Crisp finish with some piney notes.

Bottle: Pours clear light amber with light carbonation. Small white sudsy head, not very good retention. Mild aroma of sweet toffee / butterscotch and slightly floral hops. Smooth sweet flavour with a nice bitterness after it. Slightly hoppy aftertaste. Light-medium body, smooth enough though. Very quaffable.

carmel like aroma arising from a golden color topped with a thin bubbly head, very malty flavor with some hops thrown in, but malts dominate if you ask me, I wouldn't call it astonishingly complex as the description notes, But I would say it has a pleasant carmel apple-like taste to it that is pretty pleasing,

On tap @ Shakespeare’s pub San Diego. Poured a copper amber with a fizzy white head and sticky lacing. Aroma is light malt and hops with a easy drinking slightly bitter hoppy flavor. Above average beer.
