Sparkling clear, amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Butterscotch and very light perfume in the aroma. Nice, malty flavor with a note of vanilla. Well-bittered for balance. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, malty, bitter-sweet finish with only a pinch of salt thrown into the kettle. A bit on the light side, but satisfying as a good ESB should be. Left me wanting another.

Bottle. Blander than the cask version, with more fizzy stuff going on, doesn't have those juicy earthy hops in their, it much more boring than on cask.

Amber colour small off-white head. Malty aroma with a bit of sweetness, some caramel. Flavor has some sweetness and a nice hoppy bitter finish.

Bottled, pasteurised. Amber orange with white, sl fizzed head. I am surprised that this is listed seperately from the cask. A little too carbonated for my taste, malty with a toffee, caramel background. Slightly harsh on the hops, but nevertheless drinkable. I prefer the cask conditioned though (when it is kept well)

Smooth, creamy, caramely. A good and simple beer.

Bottle: Deep amber coloured, thin lacing froth; nutty malty nose, some hoppiness; malty taste combined with a good dash of hoppy bitterness; very soft; long lasting bitter-fruity, dry aftertaste; well rounded, well and easily quaffable......

Amber colour. Medium head. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Is sweet in the flavour as well. Not much bitterness. A decent ale.
