Sure I’ll probably burn in hell for saying so, but with the exception of the mouthfeel I find the bottled version to be superior. Or at least to the limited pints of the cask version I had in London. Think that the carbonation allows more bitterness and other elements to come through. Release me Satan.

(from the bottle) Nice copper-brown color. Small head. Light malt aroma. Woody/nutty flavor with a faint but distinct hops background.

Bottle. Golden color, with a white head. Malty flavors, and a great bitter finish, which suits the kind of beer it is.

Bottle... Poured a dark, dull orange with a white head. Earthy, buttery aroma of malted grains. Medium carbonation with a refreshing English floral hop presence which was soon muted by the sweet malts towards the crisp finish.

Where’s the head? It dissapeared immediately upon pouring, a nutty smell, quite pleasant, quite a weak initial taste with hints of lemon and plums, took me half a bottle to get used to, but it really is a nice overall beer,

Poured an amber color with an off white head. Aroma was biscuty and caramel. Flavor was much the same, nothing special here. BLAH
