I am very impressed with Fullers overall and this one I could recomend. If you want overwhelming hops this is not your beer ogivlado (3070), Zagreb, Croatia

Thin head which recedes quickly. Smelled of old growth fruit orchard. Malty and slightly sweet taste in the front fading to bitter with a surprising amount of hop. Highly drinkable. fro2218 (466), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Not as impressive as the 1845 but I like this light nutty crisp beer. Page 178 of Michael Jackson’s Great Beer Guide and only 401 out 500 Classic Brews to go. BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal

Used it as an ingredient in an almondcake which the kids swallowed in seconds. Lots of doses of anything which is good for a london porter. Sweetness and softness. Tons of visible carbonation. The aroma has tons of sweet malts, dough, spicy hops. Very nice. The flavor is tea, lemon, sweet malts, nice light bitter hops. I don’t know how this doesn’t rate higher. It’s really smooth. This could be drank in the gallons. :) In fact, I wish I’d have bought a 6 pack of this instead of a single. The palate is really smooth and slick but not watery. Medium bodied. I recommend trying this. Do it... Do it...
