Even my first of the ’great’ English breweries pale, Sam Smith’s, I was left with an unenjoyed taste. Perhaps it was the warmth. However, with this beer, I was left with the tastes of slightly overripe orchard fruits, backed up with nice, gentle aromatic hops and bittering hops and a meaty malt backbone. In all, I enjoyed this beer, much to my chagrin. MarkBarnes (266), Waterville, New York, USA

Rating this from memory, with the impression being that it was very similar to the Fullers ESB sampled immediately afterward. Happy to get my hands on anything that says "Fullers" on the bottle, and looking forward to giving this a proper rating at such time as I’m able to find London Pride here in Central New York State. chicagobears (336), Elk Grove Village, Illinois, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 16, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear burnt orange. Soft aromas of cookie dough and toffee.
A malty cookie and a touch of sticky butter followed by a solid hop flavor. Smooth easy drinking all the way. Would love to try the draught. joekfsu (138), Boardman, Ohio, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 24, 2008 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a clear, copper with a massive white head that is quickly diminishing. Aroma of apple and malt. Flavor is generally tangy, bitter, and a little malty. Aftertaste is short lasting but bitter and pleasant. Extensive lacing, light carbonation, and very light alcohol. I prefer this on tap to the bottle, but very drinkable either way. AWS9 (229), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
