Not sure if I like it better than the american pale ale yet. I still have to do some comparison, but I liked it. Drew (2410), Kent, Ohio, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 21, 2002 Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized, off white head. Light, malty sweet aroma that has that typical Fuller’s smeel to it. Nice, smooth malty flavor all the way through with just a hint of hops on the palate. Leaves a fair amount of lacing on the glass. Great English session beer. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA

Taste is smooth, quite malty with a touch of hop. Great mouthfeel, its quite thick and rich. Really like this beer, it reminds me a bit of Anchor Steam. BigBilly (127), London W3 6PF, England
