Dec 15, 2001 Good hoppy taste and aroma with a nice appearance. Like a toned down IPA or something. Not sure if I like it better than the american pale ale yet. I still have to do some comparison, but I liked it.

Dec 21, 2002 Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized, off white head. Light, malty sweet aroma that has that typical Fuller’s smeel to it. Nice, smooth malty flavor all the way through with just a hint of hops on the palate. Leaves a fair amount of lacing on the glass. Great English session beer.

May 19, 2002 Compared to Fullers ESB, London Pride has more a more alcohol aroma. It has a pleasant, yet perhaps not forceful enough faint bitterness and no head whatsoever. It isn’t quite as flavorful as the ESB, and would need a little more sweetness to match up.

May 3, 2004 Sparkling clear, amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Butterscotch and very light perfume in the aroma. Nice, malty flavor with a note of vanilla. Well-bittered for balance. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, malty, bitter-sweet finish with only a pinch of salt thrown into the kettle. A bit on the light side, but satisfying as a good ESB should be. Left me wanting another.

Jun 26, 2005 Yum. Pours a golden copper with a thick creamy white head. Taste is smooth, quite malty with a touch of hop. Great mouthfeel, its quite thick and rich. Really like this beer, it reminds me a bit of Anchor Steam.

Sep 4, 2004 Pours a nice clear amber with an off white head. Aroma is malty, yeasty and somewhat reminscent of bisquits. Taste is of caramel malt, floral hops, earthiness and some butterscotch. Not that sweet, pretty bitter finish. Very nicely balanced. Mouthfeel is full, round and creamy. Great lacing and head retention. Not outstanding, but a quality brew.
