Big, malty aroma. Head was light tan and very creamy. Finish had just a touch of bitterness. I love the ’1 pint, 2.6 fl.oz.’ bottles. Very manly. A very good English Ale.

Light red color. A little white head. Slight apple and malt on the nose. This is smooth some hops and a little malt. Slightly buttery in the finish, like Fuller's ESB. A solid entry, but not my favorite Fuller's beer.

Belgian spicy-like aroma initially, tapers off quickly. Fruitiness, raisins and a slight mustiness follows. Pours a copper brown, nice thick creamy head. Light on the malt, sweet flavour. Refreshing finish with nice hop presence. Does what its supposed to do - a satisfying session ale. Drink up lads!

Not one of the stronger releases from Fuller’s, but still a decent beer. Balanced in flavor, but a bit lean overall.

Very dark golden, weak head. Clean nose of malt, some caramel and hops. Mmmmm, creamy and lively in the mouth, nice rich body, good malt base, excellent hop presence. The hops provide an almost floral/perfumy/soapy quality...it doesnt really work here but still a good brew!

Bright amber with not much carbonation and a nutty, malty, apple aroma. Dominant flavor is of rich malt, but there is some crisp hops, honey and caramel also present. Aftertaste is slightly syrupy yet bitter, with a hint of chocolate. A very clean, nutty finish. A good balance of flavors make this enjoyable.

citrus hoppyness with a malty body but overly bitter in the finish.
