It poured an orangey, reddish body with a thick off-white head. The taste was somewhat sweet. I didn’t sense any bitterness that some of the other raters are noting. I wouldn’t mind having another of these sometime. HopsOrDie (687), New Lenox, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 8, 2006 As for pale ales, this one is very mellow and mild, easy to drink several at one sitting. Some english malt aroma with a little earthy hops in the nose and in the flavor. The easy to drink quality of this beer is appreciated after trying many over the top pale ales. Nothing special, but solid and nice to drink for a session ale. joshuah (37), Ferndale, Michigan, USA

Half Liter Bottle
Medium pour in an English pint
Best Before 08/07, made proud 11/06
Poured a smallish clear brownish copper with an off white somewhat lasting fizzy head with no lacing.
Smelt of moderate caramel, nuts, cookies, some light herbs.
Taste was upfront moderate sweet caramel, light herbs, and moderate bitter toasted bread followed by a grassy doughy bitterness on an above average length herbal perfume finish. Palate was light to medium bodied, watery, fizzy and moderately astringent.
Overall, a great tasty brew, although annoyingly fizzy. Swalden28 (1510), McKinney, Texas, USA

Pours a very nice looking amber with off-white head. Nice aroma of caramelized malt with nicely balanced hop. Flavor has a pleasing malty backbone with nice hop flavor with slight bitter. Im going to say this is a Co2 and nitro combination, low-medium carbonation with creamy mouthfeel, threw me off at first, wasn’t expecting that.....smooth....Overall, this is a enjoyable beer.... wacohoover (100), Garland, Texas, USA

I Feels fairly bold in my mouth, and as it hits the back of my throat I can really taste some fruitiness and flowers. I like this beer. Better in cask though. Nordcore (284), North of, Norway
