Mar 5, 2008 Clear copper with quickly dissipating head. Malty; honey-cookie and butterscotch/caramel with faint floral/earthy hop. Herbal/earthiness mixes well with the honey sweetness at the finish. Mild bitterness. Light and easy to drink.

Sep 15, 2008 Updated: Sep 10, 2009On tap at Drop Off Service in New York City, it tasted weak and watered down. But I purchased a bottle and gave it another try - this time it rates higher. It looks great: an amber pour with a nice, lazy head and lace. The hefty bottle is decorated with a simple, but attractive label. Soft mouthfeel and mild, dry English hops. Pleasant flavor with a little astringency and a hint of lemon zest. It is a little on the light side, but this is still a gold standard English bitter.

Nov 28, 2007 Sweet malty aroma. Roasted, caramel malt flavor but not too sweet. Hops are definately there but not too strong. Nicely balanced.

May 10, 2008 Thanks to ekstedt & friends. Light amber with a white head. Notes of caramel and fudge. Light, bitter taste, somewhat metallic. Very light carbonation. Soft mouthfeel.

Jul 31, 2008 Tasted during outage: A nice, rich amber looking beer that pours a good 2 finger head and settles with some a good lace, light hop aromas well balanced with the malts, balance is the beer as not one single element is overpowering. an easy drinker that quenches the thirst with nice flavors, nice sessionable beer, one of my favorite brand of beers, Fullers, getyasum.

Jun 25, 2009 Bottle. Copper colour with a medium sized white head. Malty aroma with hints of spices and hops. The flavour is slightly sweet and bitter with some malt and hops. Touch of spices and toffee. Very good, balanced brew.
