Bottle, a reddish amber with a yellowish bubbly head. A soapy malt aroma. A little soapy again in the mouth, and the malt flavour is somewhat earthy. Not such a good effort one from Fullers.

Bottled. Dark brown with a white head. Sweetish aroma, caramel. Somewhat nutty. Hint of dried fruit. Dry, moderately bitter finish.

Bottle: poured a reddish amber colour with an off-white head; malty aroma, full in the mouth with a nutty, malty taste and a gently bitter finish. OK, but not Fuller’s best beer.

Bottle, think that I got this in a Fullers brewers pack thing that they do, anyway it’s been kicking around for some time. Copper coloured beer with a malty aroma, some nuttiness in the taste along with pleasant malted flavours, quite a nice beer for this autumnal time of year.
