scanovajr (291), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Jun 14, 2007 Bottled. Pours clear amber with a white head. Aroma is fruity. Taste is toffee and caramel. Dry hops finish. TheGrandMaster (1486), Auckland, New Zealand Apr 25, 2007 Bottle, a reddish amber with a yellowish bubbly head. A soapy malt aroma. A little soapy again in the mouth, and the malt flavour is somewhat earthy. Not such a good effort one from Fullers. RichardWilding (190), London, Greater London, England Jan 30, 2007 Bottled. Dark brown with a white head. Sweetish aroma, caramel. Somewhat nutty. Hint of dried fruit. Dry, moderately bitter finish. berkshire_john (1102), Bracknell, Berkshire, England Dec 31, 2006 Bottle: poured a reddish amber colour with an off-white head; malty aroma, full in the mouth with a nutty, malty taste and a gently bitter finish. OK, but not Fuller’s best beer. Fin (2344), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Oct 17, 2006 Bottle, think that I got this in a Fullers brewers pack thing that they do, anyway it’s been kicking around for some time. Copper coloured beer with a malty aroma, some nuttiness in the taste along with pleasant malted flavours, quite a nice beer for this autumnal time of year.
