Commercial Description:
Cask; Seasonal - Autumn.
A deliciously nutty, rich and warming ale brewed to 4.8% ABV. Mr Harry is deep amber in colour and packed with raisin and caramel flavours from the Pale Ale Optic malts, which leave a satisfying, soothing finish.

Cask handpump at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Quite dark amber coloured with a creamy white head and very good lacing. Flavour is fruity, malty, caramel with some hops. Full bodied. Very good stuff.

At 2005 Bedford Beer Festival where it was my own personal favourite among the English ales. Mid amber, with a small white head. A delicious, malty creamy flavour with plenty of caramel and an intensely bitter finish.

Druaght. Wonderful dark chestnut-cupper body with a thick small-bubbled off-white head. Full buttery, nutty and salty aroma. Taste mnild, but delicate. Thick on the palate. Extremely sophisticated and well-balanced. Beautiful.

Cask (Kitty’s, Helsinki) Oct 2007 Reddy orange. Nutty malty woody aroma. Huge brown bitter taste, slight coffe hints. Long drying bitter aftertaste. Excellent ESB. Re-rate of (6-4-8-4-15=3.7): Cask (Gallows Bird, Espoo, Winter Ales 2004) Dark, nutty and fruity. Quite similar to Young’s Special of yore (before that was emasculated).

Draught@Milenka, Helsinki. Amber color, off-white head. Woody hop aroma. Nice bitter flavor with cigar notes and a fairly dry finish. Medium-full body, medium carbonation. Sort of a light-weight version of Fuller’s ESB, pretty good.

Cask@The Mawson Arms (Fullers Brewery), Chiswick, London. Quite liked it. Has the typical smooth Fullers mouthfeel. Got some nice flavours out of this. HOney, toffe/caramel, nuts, slightly toasted malt, wholemeal bread. Light lemony finish, with a good amount of bitterness. Also a bit salty, pretty good on cask

[Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy dark amber beer with a small off-white lazing head. The aroma is nicely hoppy and the flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, roasted bread, and a bitter hoppy quite dry end. The mouthfeel is very smooth.
